Important Notice Regarding Text Messaging Data
Miami Best Plumber LLC does not share customer opt-in information — including phone numbers and consent records — with any affiliates or third parties for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes unrelated to providing our direct services. All text messaging originator opt-in data is kept strictly confidential.
Plain-English Summary
We collect the information you give us when you request a free estimate or contact us — name, phone number, email, service address, and what you're asking about. We use it to contact you about our plumbing services and to schedule and complete the work. We do not sell your personal information. Scope and Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to Miami Best Plumber LLC ("Miami Best Plumber," "we," "us," "our") and the website at miamibestplumber.com (the "Site"), our lead-capture forms, our text-message communications, and our plumbing, repair, and installation services across South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.

Information We Collect
We only collect information that helps us respond to your inquiry, schedule a service call, provide an estimate, complete the work, or follow up after service.
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address.
- Service details: home or business address, type of plumbing service you need (drain cleaning, water heater repair or installation, leak detection, repiping, emergency plumbing, sewer line inspection, fixture installation, backflow testing), and any notes you include with your request.
- Opt-in records and timestamps: when you check a consent checkbox on any of our forms, we record which checkbox(es) you checked, the exact consent language displayed, the form URL, and a timestamp.
- Communications: messages you send us by form, phone, email, or SMS, and recordings or transcripts of calls if we notify you we are recording.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps.

SMS and Text-Message Communications (TCPA)
Program description
Miami Best Plumber operates two distinct text-message programs:
- Transactional / Informational Program: Sends appointment confirmations, technician arrival reminders, free estimate scheduling updates, quote follow-ups, and customer support messages. Opt-in is collected via a dedicated checkbox on our website forms.
- Promotional / Marketing Program: Sends special offers and service promotions related to our plumbing services. Opt-in requires a separate, additional checkbox and constitutes express written consent under the TCPA.
Opt-in and consent
- You will only receive messages if you have explicitly opted in by checking the applicable checkbox on one of our forms.
- We maintain timestamped records of all opt-in actions, including the form URL, consent language shown, and IP address at time of submission.
- We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and all applicable federal and state laws.
- Consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency and content
- Transactional messages: frequency varies based on your service interactions (typically tied to appointment, dispatch, or job-completion events).
- Promotional messages: frequency varies and will be disclosed in each campaign. We do not send promotional content without specific express written consent.
- Messages will be directly related to the services for which you have provided consent.
Opt-out instructions
- To stop all text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message we send you.
- You will receive a final confirmation and no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in.
- All opt-out requests are honored immediately.

SMS data protection statement
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support of services — such as SMS aggregators and scheduling software — is permitted solely for the purpose of delivering messages you have consented to receive. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties for non-service purposes.
When We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run our business — scheduling software (HouseCallPro), SMS aggregators and messaging providers, email platforms, hosting (Cloudflare), and analytics — under contracts that require them to protect your data and prohibit them from using it for any purpose other than providing services to us.
- Plumbers and technicians who need your address and contact information to dispatch and complete service.
- Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — if Miami Best Plumber is merged, acquired, or sells assets, customer data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you and honor this policy.
SMS opt-in data and consent records are specifically excluded from any data sharing arrangement other than with SMS aggregators and providers for the sole purpose of message delivery. This data will not be transferred, sold, or shared with any other third party under any circumstances.
Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, secure your session, measure traffic, and improve performance. We use Cloudflare for hosting and security and may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand which pages perform best. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect some Site features.
Security
We use HTTPS across the entire Site, restrict employee access to customer records on a need-to-know basis, and store data with reputable cloud providers. We maintain encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest, secure access controls, and breach notification protocols in accordance with applicable law. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations (e.g., warranty records, tax records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Opt-in consent records are retained for a minimum of four years in line with the TCPA statute of limitations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Your California Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what categories of personal information we collect and how we use them.
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect or process sensitive categories such as SSN, financial accounts, or precise geolocation).
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service or charge a different price for exercising these rights.

Your EEA / UK Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Our legal bases for processing are: your consent (e.g., to receive marketing texts), the performance of a contract (completing the plumbing work you hired us to do), our legitimate interests (improving the Site, preventing fraud), and compliance with legal obligations.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. You must be 18 or older to participate in our SMS programs. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or SMS. Your continued use of the Site after the change means you accept the updated policy.
